from the same school for the same book even after the item was mailed.
Cheryl Tunno seems to be getting requests at Meadville High School for
Meadville Public Library. Peter Genco requested that AccessPa give us a
definitive description concerning what “old” means concerning
copyright. These will all be reported to AccessPa.

for IDS. Right now there is no change in IDS pricing , but this could
change.
3. A suggestion was made that school libraries might want to place
AccessPa costs in their districts tech budget so more money would be
available in library budgets for other uses.
4. AccessPa is considering getting into audio book downloading. If
this does happen, they will give program software to every member.
5. AccessPa is also looking into the possibility of manual adds for new
products not already in the system.
6. The VDX system is trying to send an email when asked to renew
materials.
7. There will be two AccessPa/Powerlibrary workshops at the I.U. next
fall. They will take place on October 24 and 25th. These are only
refresher sessions. All new librarians must go to one of the 3 new user
sessions that will be located in designated areas across the state.
Those dates and places will be announced in the future. AccessPa is
also looking into putting theses training sessions online.
8. Summer rota for schools will be suspended on Friday, May 13 and will
go back into operation on August 29th. Contact Cyndi Pinchon if a later
suspension or earlier reinstatement is needed.
9. Please include documentation with each book. Once the due date is
entered the correct documentation will be available to print
