1. Bring in the textbook that was loaned to you at the beginning of the year. I have recorded the number of each student book and I have written the names of the student in the book. This way I can insure that I get back the right student book. If I student does not return his/her assigned book a charge will be issued. The book costs about $90.
2. FIND THE NORTH STAR due Tuesday, June 9th (can turn in as soon as completed)
Students have a page to read about the Underground Railroad and directions on how to find the North Star. The North Star was used for direction by many people trying to escape slavery during the 1800s. After students read the information and try to find the North Star they sign the page along with their parents’ signature.
