Chestnut Hill Virtual Learning Shift

Attention Chestnut Hill Families,

We value your dedication and partnership, as you entrust the care and education of your children to us.

In collaboration with the Erie County Department of Health, we have made the decision to move temporarily to 100% Virtual Learning for all students at Chestnut Hill Elementary from Monday, September 20, 2021, to Friday, September 24, 2021.

The MTSD Pandemic Team has been collaborating with the Erie County Department of Health related to families at Chestnut Hill and have identified a cluster of COVID-19 cases. The individuals from the initial investigation who have confirmed COVID-19 cases and all identified close contacts, are following the guidance of the DOH and will be isolated and or quarantined at home for the appropriate number of days. The MTSD Virtual Learning Overview can be reviewed online at any time for more information and includes information the same as listed below.

OFF-CAMPUS LEARNING & INSTRUCTION

  • A commitment to continuity of instruction will be followed by all

  • Students will receive new instruction daily and full-time learning through Google Classroom and Google Meets

  • Teachers will provide scheduled virtual office hours to assist students with assignments and questions

  • If internet access is not available for you during a temporary learning shift, please contact your school building principal to provide additional tech accommodations

  • Materials required for learning at home may be picked up by scheduling a time with the Building Principal

TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT

BREAKFAST & LUNCH

  • Meals Requested for Monday, September 20 - Friday, September 24, 2021

  • Order Online by 5PM Sunday, September 19

  • Pick-up time is 10:00 AM on Monday, 09/20/2021

  • Curbside drive-up service will be offered at Chestnut Hill Elementary parking lot

  • A FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT FOR EACH STUDENT RECEIVING MEALS

  • Athletics, Clubs, Activities, and extra-curricular will be rescheduled
