Please be advised that due to the current regional and local bus driver shortages and confirmed positive COVID-19 cases reported to the Millcreek Township School District, bus transportation for many routes will be delayed beginning Tuesday, September 7, 2021, through Friday, September 10, 2021.

The following busses and routes will be impacted between 9/7/21 - 9/10/21.

    NEW! Complete Your Students 2021-2022 Required Start of Year forms with INFINITE CAMPUS!

    Sign in to the Parent Portal or access Infinite Campus using the mobile app!

    Select MORE at the bottom of the left menu and then "ANNUAL REQUIRED FORMS" at the bottom of the next menu.

    A new window will open, select BEGIN REGISTRATION to then review and submit the e-signature for your child's required start of year forms including:

    • Student Code of Conduct Consent
    • Media & Photo Release Consent
    • Emergency Contact Information
    • FERPA Consent

    All required forms are due by September 30, 2021.

    In the event of a shift to temporary virtual learning for one or all of the MTSD School Buildings, planned procedures are in place and can be reviewed at any time.

    Temporary Virtual Learning Days will occur for the following reasons and are pre-planned for the following dates in 2021-2022


    • ELECTION DAY - MAY 17, 2022

    Flexible Instruction Days (FID) will be in place in the event of inclement weather or power outages for example. The FID replaces previously used "Snow Days". If an FID is announced for the District or your child's school building the Virtual Learning Plan below will also be implemented.

    Information for Parents & Students on Safety Standard Response Protocols

    The Standard Response Protocol (SRP) is based on an all-hazards approach as opposed to individual scenarios. Like the Incident Command System (ICS), SRP utilizes clear common language while allowing for flexibility in the protocol.

    1. Hold
    2. Secure
    3. Lockdown
    4. Evacuate
    5. Shelter.

    The premise is simple - there are five specific actions that can be performed during an incident. When communicating these, the action is labeled with a “Term of Art” and is then followed by a “Directive.” Execution of the action is performed by active participants, including students, staff, teachers, and first responders.

    Don't Forget! Wednesday, September 8, 2021, is the deadline to register to speak at the upcoming school board meeting on Monday, September 13, 2021.

    Agenda Items Include:

    • Erie County Technical School Project
    • Return to 5 Days In-Person Learning
    • MIHS New Leadership

    The MTSD School Board is now meeting in person at the Millcreek Education Center but will continue to host meetings online using Zoom, and Live-Stream to Youtube.

    Masks are required for all individuals who attend in person. All individuals wishing to participate in a public Board meeting shall register their intent with the Board Secretary ( five (5) days in advance of the meeting and shall include the name and address of the participant, topic to be addressed and group affiliation, if applicable. Those who registered with the Board Secretary, as noted above, shall be limited to five (5) minutes duration to address the Board.
