All individuals wishing to participate in a public Board meeting shall register their intent with the Board Secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org) five (5) days in advance of the meeting and shall include the name and address of the participant, topic to be addressed and group affiliation, if applicable. Those who registered with the Board Secretary, as noted above, shall be limited to five (5) minutes duration to address the Board. During the meeting, participants must be recognized by the presiding officer and must preface their comments by an announcement of their name, address, and group affiliation if applicable.
Those members of the public who would like to offer public comment during the Committee of the Whole meeting/School Board meeting and did not register in advance will be acknowledged during the Visitors section of the Committee of the Whole/School Board meeting to speak for 3 minutes.
Please raise your hand at the beginning of the Visitors section and when you are given the opportunity to speak, your microphone will be unmuted. Please announce your name, address, and topic on which you would like to speak. The meeting host or Board President will acknowledge you when it is your turn to speak.
