MTSD COVID-19 Contact Preference Update & Notification Process
All Infinite Campus Accounts have been updated to allow more flexibility for our families to make contact preference changes for all COVID-19 Notifications and related communications. Accounts may now be modified by parents to choose their preferred method; email, phone call, and/or text. Currently COVID-19 Notifications are set to be delivered to ALL contact methods listed in the account as PRIORITY notifications.

Want to change how you receive COVID COMMUNICATIONS from MTSD?
To adjust your Infinite Campus settings for COVID-19 Communications please follow the directions below.
COVID COMMUNICATIONS ARE SENT UNDER THE PRIORITY CATEGORY
- Log in to Infinite Campus
- Click the Profile Icon in the upper right corner
- Select Settings
- Select Contact Preferences
- The First Menu Tab will be for PHONE preferences – Voice (calls) and Text
If you do NOT want to receive phone call COVID notifications, uncheck the box to the right of the Priority Category.
If you do NOT want to receive text message COVID notifications, uncheck the box to the right of the Priority Category.
- Click Save at the bottom of the screen
- To update account settings for EMAIL Notifications – select the Email menu header
- The EMAIL Menu Tab we be shown below

- If you do NOT want to receive EMAIL COVID notifications, uncheck the box to the right of the Priority Category.
When will I receive COVID Communications?
In collaboration with the Department of Health and per the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the MTSD Health & Safety Plan for the 2020 School Year requires all MTSD parents and guardians to be notified of a confirmed positive COVID-19 case within the District. MTSD will send one positive case notification message to all parents/guardians via Infinite Campus messenger to all student contacts listed as a Priority Notification. Parents/Guardians will receive that message to all contact methods marked to receive priority notifications in the IC Account.
How many messages will I receive?
MTSD will send one additional message to all parents/guardians with a child enrolled at the school building that was NOT impacted by the positive covid-19 case notification. The second message will be sent PRIORITY to the same contact methods selected in the IC Account Contact Preferences. The additional message will be sent within fifteen minutes of the confirmed positive case notification.
