JS WILSON MIDDLE SCHOOL
6th Grade & New Student Walk Through
- Tuesday, August 20th
- 9:00 - 11:00 A.M.
- Students and parents will be able to explore the school, visit the classrooms and see where Encore classes (Specials) are located.
- Student schedules will be available when you enter the building.
- All students will receive a locker assignment and lock on their first day of school. Additionally, we will have locks available in the JSW Gym for students to practice opening a combination lock.
- Our school supply list is posted on our website at mtsd.org, under “schools”, “JS Wilson” scroll to the bottom of the page. We will have building/district administrators available to answer questions.
Open House

- 6:30 - 8:00 P.M.
- Parents will have an opportunity to tour the school, visit classrooms, and meet your students’ teachers. Please keep in mind that Open House is for parents, only. Students should not attend.
- PTA membership will also be available, as well as information on upcoming events. PTA Officers will be at school to answer any questions. Please consider joining PTA to support our school, students, and staff. We will start the event with a meeting for all parents in the auditorium. After the meeting parents will have an opportunity to visit classrooms.

WALNUT CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL
Walk Through

- Meet Staff and practice locks
- No need to RSVP, print your schedule from Infinite Campus and come on over! If you are unable to attend this day please rest assured that we will have staff stationed throughout the building to assist anyone in need. We are there to support you and make this transition as easy as possible.

- Student schedules will be available on August 16th in the afternoon. Schedules will be available at the Orientation and students may pick up their new chromebooks also. Parents and students will be able to walk their schedules and ask questions. Great WL Information will be available including Chromebook insurance (highly recommended).

Parents – this is a true Open House. You are welcome to arrive at any time and walk your student’s schedule. We do not have any formal presentations, but you may pick up information on all kinds of important school information and join our amazing WL PTA. We look forward to seeing you there!
