English Language Learners

Millcreek Township School District serves approximately 159 English Language Learners across all grade levels.  

The District provides English Language Learning services and supports for students whose first language is one other than English for the purpose of facilitating the student’s achievement of English proficiency and the academic standards. Services include bilingual-bicultural or English as second language instruction provided in specialized classrooms at the elementary, middle, and high school levels along with consultative support within content areas. The MTSD English Language Learning program serves students with various cultural backgrounds and over 19 languages.
