General Volunteer
- A General Volunteer is a volunteer who provides one time, intermittent, or continuous service and is under the direct supervision of a qualified school district employee.
Board Approved Volunteer
- A Board Approved Volunteer is a volunteer who is not under the direct supervision of a qualified school district employee. This includes overnight chaperones, driving students, or driving district vehicles.

MTSD has partnered with ESS to manage our substitute program. ESS is a leader in K-12 staffing and is responsible for the hiring, training, and placement of all daily substitute teachers, substitute paraprofessionals, substitute nurses, and substitute clerical.

Internship Opportunities

Millcreek Township School District offers a wide variety of internship opportunities across our schools and administrative offices. Students who are interested in pursuing an internship within the district must complete our Internship Application Request Form and submit all required documentation to the Employee Engagement Coordinator.

Per Board Policy 307, MTSD may accept student teachers and interns only from accredited institutions with which the District has a cooperative agreement approved by the Millcreek Township Board of School Directors.

Student Teaching Opportunities:

Millcreek Township School District is proud to partner with a number of colleges and universities to provide observation, field, and student teaching placements across our schools. If you are interested in completing a placement in one of our schools, please contact the placement coordinator at your school or MTSD’s Employee Engagement Coordinator.
